Over the years, Attenda has raised a significant amount of money for numerous charities. Feedback from staff surveys, comments from previous events and the belief of the founders and investors, is that charitable giving is important to the company culture and part of everyone’s social responsibility.
To that end, all employees are encouraged to get involved with charitable work and are eligible to one day per annum, paid leave to work with a charity of their choice. Through the Volunteer Day Policy and other personal fund raising, individuals are welcome and encouraged to support the charity of their choice.
As a company the TEAM have selected the following charities to support that represent a mix of local and national causes. To support the chosen charities fund raising events happen throughout the year, from staff relay races to cake making …
Most of the monies raised through company sponsored charity events are donated to the following charities.

The mission of Children in Need is to positively change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
They provide this support in the form of grants to organisations working with children who may have experienced mental, physical or sensory disabilities; behavioural or psychological disorders; are living in poverty or situations of deprivation; or suffering through distress, abuse or neglect

Comic Relief has two major fundraising campaigns: Red Nose Day and Sport Relief.
These events, held in alternate years, unite the entire nation in trying to make a difference to the lives of thousands of individuals facing terrible injustice or living in abject poverty.

The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice, based in Hampton close to Staines, provides essential care and support for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families, free of charge, 365 days a year.

Through charitable donations collected at the largest annual sailing event in the IT industry, The Silicon Cup donates significant amounts of money to their three supported charities; NSPCC, Dreams Come True and the Jubilee Sailing Trust.
In addition we support charities who are Attenda Clients through both subsidised contracts and corporate donation:

Christian Aid stands with the world’s poorest people to bring poverty and injustice to an end – regardless of faith or ethnicity.
They tackle poverty and its causes. From finding better ways of farming in the Bolivian altiplano, to protecting women raped and forced from their homes in Darfur. Through their partner organisations and regional offices, they reach some of the poorest communities on earth.

The RSPCA's vision is to work for a world in which all humans respect and live in harmony with all other members of the animal kingdom.

Against Malaria is an initiative of the Against Malaria Foundation, a charity registered in the UK, US, Australia and a number of other countries. The Foundation was set up with the explicit aim of handling the money raised through World Swim Against Malaria.
